Our Simple Anniversary

Our holiday trip to Cameron was great! Ok, I know it's long overdue but blamed it on the stacks of portfolios that I got to prepare. That aside, I truly enjoy my days there and in fact I was going on an almost fit in the coach back, kept asking the husband "Are we going back already?!!" That's how I really enjoyed the weather and time there, goodness! Not so much of the strawberries there.

One weird fact about me is I LURVE all thing about strawberry and that explains my collection of Strawberry Shortcake merchandises and love the scent of it BUT eating strawberries,nah......Rather eat a whole chunk of mangoes.

One of my obsession collections of S.S :)

Ok...some nuggets abt CH. The weather especially, was GREAT. Cooling, breezy and I even forgot how I used to perspire underneath my tudung! The view from our rich forestation.8th floor hotel balcony at Equatorial was picturesque. Masyaallah, the miracle and works of Allah with all those magnificient hills and rich forestation.

View from the hotel balcony. We need no aircon. The moment we opened the sliding door...whooosh....!!! Feels like Brisbane when we were there one year ago!!

Waiting for our coach early in the morning to go to Agro Delight Tour that we signed up the day before only to know that they didnt turn up until much later. By that time,we had already got fed up and left for breakfast. That explained the grumpy expression. "_"

And so after a few calls to the agency, we managed to get throught them and they replaced it that afternoon. Heng ah.... Coz the husband was getting really up to his head!

We signed up for the Agro Delight Tour and here we are at the Vegetable Farm. Not a good idea?? You are so wong! For green lovers like me and hub, this place is really a haven!! Just love looking at those luscious butterhead!!

After the vegetable and fruits farm, they brought us to the Strawberry Farm (what else!). We didnt pick the strawberries though. Hubby wasnt a favourite neither do I.

Some of the distorted ones.

The Agro Delight was worth for money. For RM65 per adult you'll get to tour the vegetable farm, cactus farm, strawberry farm and the main highlight was the steamboat dinner. We went crazy over the free flow of veggies that were spread at the buffet table. But there's a catch. Ingredients like prawns, fishballs, hotdogs etc were served according to pax and extra charges will apply for any top ups.

Yuhhmeeeyyyyy.

The next day we headed to another trip to bee farm and rose garden. Ermm...nothing much though at the bee farm. We didnt really enjoy the trip there.

See that wooden box behind me..?? That's where the bees are stored.

Next was the Rose Garden. Whole array of flowers which I find it rather a picturesque place to snap a shot. Reason being, even the two guys in our tour group went busy clicking each others pictures!

As you know, I can go berserk when taking pictures especially with flowers around (mentel-mode) but considering the fact that Im blogging this entry since 2 hours ago with a grumbling tummy (& husband!), I'll be kind to let you access to more pixs here!

Going crazy over the Strawberry merchandises at Market Square.

Some of the "berry love" thingy we bought.. Hey, the strawberry cordial tastes nice! But limit yourself to... ermm, one cup every 3 days maybe. Coz it can be rather sweet. Too little would be too bland though.

We brought these back to SG but werent as fresh as first bought (obviously silly!). Was procastinate to eat it with Yami Yoghurt or something but I never did..!! Booo-Yah!!

Steamboat dinner again at the hotel's restaurant before heading back the next day. I guess CH really has abundance of veggies coz even here, vegetables are served free flow! Me and husband love many many!!!

Last pix for now... the beautiful work of Allah.

The sunrise.

Simply breathtaking, simply miracle.

Hey.....seriously if you think you can endure 10 hours (or more!) in the coach travelling up the Cameron Highlands, I would say go for it.
It may not be as outstanding as Europe but I guess after spending the quality time with my love, I can't ask for more.

To my lao gong, thank you for the love, the care you have given me. I can never think of having anybody else except you. You might be controlling your pukes reading this but what the heck. I love you for who you are and may Allah bless us with all His blessings. Ameen.
