Money Not Enough
Let me list down some of the things that I can do with that sum of money.
Fivourously
1. Go on a crazy shopping spree for shoes (any shops also can)
2. Get a Kate Spade wristlet or wallet
3. Buy a $170 coach ticket to KL with a one night stay at a 3 stars hotel and still have some SGD left to convert to RM.
4. Go for a facial, eyelash extension, hair extension and get some slutty innerwears (but I'll only wear to sleep for my husband to see lah) from CityPlaza.
5. Buy myself a platimum solitaire ring from Aurora Jewelry.
Sensibly
1. Treat my family of 12 adults, 7 kids & 4 cats to a nice meal at KFC (KFC also nice wat!)
2. Donate it to any charities.
Well, why am I talking about $ 200..not $20, not $2000 or even $ 20 000? Let me take you into a story:
Once there was this lady, lets call her Waklu. Ive know her very briefly and met her once. At that time I bought a make-up palette from her. We met at Commonwealth MRT station and the transaction was smooth except for a small glitch when she showed me that one tray in the palette was slightly cracked. Due to that she charged me $2 less than the original cost price.
Fast forward, we never really communicate let alone hang out although she was in my FB contact list.
To cut this very lengthy story short, another contact of mine, Jac from FB relate to me and her other friends how she was cheated of TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS from the same lady, Waklu. It all started when Waklu requested for a loan from Jac and PROMISED to pay back in a few days time. Initially I didnt believe it when Jac mentioned that Waklu not only did not returned the $$ but gave flowery excuses and lies. Jac posted the many messages that she sent and received from Waklu. These includes messages like "she had a miscarriage.....she was hospitalised...etc". Excuses and lies that probably enough to create a Mediacorp-worthy script.
What we can deduced from here was that, she simply didnt have the intention to return the money back to poor Jac. This incident has opened up more cans of worms thanx to Waklu's deeds. More people stepped up and shared how they were also cheated by this same person. And surprise, surprise.. she recycled the same old excuses and lies to the people she cheated on with the hope that they could bathed her with sympathy and eventually forget about the loan.
However Jac was determined to get her money back and continued to demand the money. And again, this lady continued to spin a tale saying that she already transfered the money but the money didnt went through etc..... All this coming from someone we know who had a car, whose husband rides a big bike and has a brother who is a lawyer and lives in a landed property.
Why she didnt approached him instead? To quote Jac, we really need to pry open her brain and dissect it to know.
Lucky for Jac, Waklu FINALLY returned the $200 after TWENTY FOUR DAYS.
Some may ask, why am I putting this up on behalf of a friend, let me tell you something I learnt from this incident:
TRUST.
Jac willingly lent the money to Waklu thinking that she was a nice girl and never in her mind to imagine that Waklu would cheat on her.
So, is it worth jeopardising a friendship like this?
The answer is a definite NO.
Waklu lost a friend and condolences to her.
And to my readers who may know her, please be wary. She may not approach you to maintain her "atas" status (whatever it may be) but true to the old mantra, prevention is better than cure.
Believe me, $20 is already enough to cause a drift in a friendship so dont let it happened.
To Waklu..... to lie about having a miscarriage or having a death in the family is really really the worst. You cannot pay, tell the truth. No point creating a mountain of lies just to cover two hills (READ: your asses).
To quote another contact: "miscarriage? yeah...she dropped her brains.."
Well, Waklu seriously needs to pick up all those pieces, man.
BEWARE.

Papa's Day
My father, Tomari Juraimi is the most handsome father to me and definitely to all my sisters. The 6 of us (4 are my direct siblings including myself, the other 2 are of different mother) have to agree that this dark, tall, chiselled face man is indeed our charming Papa.

Here's Papa with my 2 step-sisters, Abby & Nana, taken when they were young.
Cute aren't they!
Although my childhood years with him is short, I still have somewhat great memories of him when I was little. He is always the one to crack jokes, make funny faces & voice just to make us laugh. And when we refused or couldnt get to sleep, he would take a strip of thin paper (usually from the side of the newspaper), twisted it and used it to tickle our ears! We would get 'high' and fell asleep almost immediately. Believe me, I still do that if I cant get to sleep.
And I even get the husband to get addicted to it..LOL!!
He can be the fierce Papa too. I would rather not remember him in his anger. After the divorce of my parents, my sisters and I went to stay with Mak. Every now and then, we would visit Papa especially during Hari Raya which is a must till up to this year. When my 2 step sisters were born, we welcomed them with joy. At 60, Papa is indeed the most lucky man to have SIX daughters!!! LOL!!
He was happy each time he received new addition to the family, be it sons-in-law or grandchildren. Atok Panjang, as he is known to his grandchildren, he still display the funny traits that is in him to them. That's my Papa.

Dear Papa, thanx for being there when I signed my life away to be a wife to my husband. Thanx for still loving us, caring for us when we were young and making us happy with your silly antics.

And yes, not forgetting to someone that I called Papa too. That is my step-father.
You looked after us and taught us the good and bad. You taught us to respect Mak, love her more than anything else. You taught us the importance of kinship.

And to my own father-in-law (husband didnt allow me to put up his pix..hehhehe), Mr Tan Siak Kim, Happy Father's Day to you!!
Lots of love from me, your daughter & daughter in law.

Cath Kidston!!
Something caught my eye.
Something like these!OMG. Im such a Cath Kidston's virgin fan! Ive seen the trademark roses murals on bags and such on pictures though! But when I saw it right in front of my eyes, I was awestruck and was so so disappointed only to realise that only iphone casings are available. When I caught a glimpse of one specially for Blackberry, I even resort to asking the Ah-Beng a silly question...

Sigh..... Everyone now say "Awwwww................"

But you guys know what.......
The only setback is...I DONT OWN AN iphone!!!!
Arghhhhh!!! So dear lao gong....ermmmm.....can I get an Iphone...??????

Our Simple Anniversary
One weird fact about me is I LURVE all thing about strawberry and that explains my collection of Strawberry Shortcake merchandises and love the scent of it BUT eating strawberries,nah......Rather eat a whole chunk of mangoes.

One of my obsession collections of S.S :)
Ok...some nuggets abt CH. The weather especially, was GREAT. Cooling, breezy and I even forgot how I used to perspire underneath my tudung! The view from our rich forestation.8th floor hotel balcony at Equatorial was picturesque. Masyaallah, the miracle and works of Allah with all those magnificient hills and rich forestation.

View from the hotel balcony. We need no aircon. The moment we opened the sliding door...whooosh....!!! Feels like Brisbane when we were there one year ago!!
Waiting for our coach early in the morning to go to Agro Delight Tour that we signed up the day before only to know that they didnt turn up until much later. By that time,we had already got fed up and left for breakfast. That explained the grumpy expression. "_"
And so after a few calls to the agency, we managed to get throught them and they replaced it that afternoon. Heng ah.... Coz the husband was getting really up to his head!
We signed up for the Agro Delight Tour and here we are at the Vegetable Farm. Not a good idea?? You are so wong! For green lovers like me and hub, this place is really a haven!! Just love looking at those luscious butterhead!!
After the vegetable and fruits farm, they brought us to the Strawberry Farm (what else!). We didnt pick the strawberries though. Hubby wasnt a favourite neither do I.

The Agro Delight was worth for money. For RM65 per adult you'll get to tour the vegetable farm, cactus farm, strawberry farm and the main highlight was the steamboat dinner. We went crazy over the free flow of veggies that were spread at the buffet table. But there's a catch. Ingredients like prawns, fishballs, hotdogs etc were served according to pax and extra charges will apply for any top ups.
Yuhhmeeeyyyyy.
The next day we headed to another trip to bee farm and rose garden. Ermm...nothing much though at the bee farm. We didnt really enjoy the trip there.
See that wooden box behind me..?? That's where the bees are stored.
Next was the Rose Garden. Whole array of flowers which I find it rather a picturesque place to snap a shot. Reason being, even the two guys in our tour group went busy clicking each others pictures!
As you know, I can go berserk when taking pictures especially with flowers around (mentel-mode) but considering the fact that Im blogging this entry since 2 hours ago with a grumbling tummy (& husband!), I'll be kind to let you access to more pixs here!
Going crazy over the Strawberry merchandises at Market Square.
Some of the "berry love" thingy we bought.. Hey, the strawberry cordial tastes nice! But limit yourself to... ermm, one cup every 3 days maybe. Coz it can be rather sweet. Too little would be too bland though.
We brought these back to SG but werent as fresh as first bought (obviously silly!). Was procastinate to eat it with Yami Yoghurt or something but I never did..!! Booo-Yah!!
Steamboat dinner again at the hotel's restaurant before heading back the next day. I guess CH really has abundance of veggies coz even here, vegetables are served free flow! Me and husband love many many!!!
Last pix for now... the beautiful work of Allah.
The sunrise.
Simply breathtaking, simply miracle.Hey.....seriously if you think you can endure 10 hours (or more!) in the coach travelling up the Cameron Highlands, I would say go for it.
It may not be as outstanding as Europe but I guess after spending the quality time with my love, I can't ask for more.
