Once Upon A Time In My Life...

Oh gosh.. The last time I blogged was on the 25 Nov. And here we are now on the 3rd day of a new month and of course a brand new year. Happy New Year, friends!!

And of course many things happened these past months. Happy, sad, anxiety all rolled into one. As usual..... It takes all kinds to complete the world, in this case my life. The husband is on duty (again!) but thanx goodness, this will be his last one before he bid a 'bitter' farewell to the "Men in Green" comrades.

Lets talk a little about my make-up job, shall we? Remember the other day when I was asked by my aunt to doll up her future daughter-in-law...?? Well, alhamdullilah, the solemnization ceremony went smoothly and the bride was happy with the make-up done on her.

Hey yeah!! The holiday trip to KL that took place last December!! Whoo hooo!!

It was great fun being away with just the two of us. It feels like another honeymoon only that this time, its a shorter one. However, my love fell ill on the 1st day we reached. We did go out though but made sure we got back to the hotel early.

KL trip without food is like a 'useless trip' and eat we did!! We trod down to Petaling Streets for great bargains (of course) and the goodies there like ayam percik was heavenly.Psst... the sambal was so nice I kept it in the fridge hoping to eat it with something else. But alas...... it didnt taste as good as it was freshly from the shop....

The nasi lemak for breakfast at the hotel.... Boleh tahan saja..alhamdullilah. The sambal was cold when served so the "kick" wasnt really there. I prefer my food hot and warm.

Late lunch before our movie @ Old Town White Coffee, Berjaya Times Square. We watched NGANGKUNG. Well, both hubby & I agreed that Shaheizy Sam (Adnan Sempit) is such a versatile actor! We love him!!

Every KL trip must end with a meal at this restaurant. I first ate here in 2006 and Im still a loyal customer there.

4 days in KL seriously wasnt enough for the two of us. We wished we could rest even more, spent more and eat more!!
Oh well....hopefully there will be a next time soon. Insya Allah.

So many places I wanna visit but hubby said we should visit Mecca at least once in our lifetime. He already had that chance and insya Allah, I want to do so too.

Another make-up assignment this Friday! Yippeee!! Will update on that SOON!!
