@ 33 weeks 1 day

Taken @ 32 weeks 1 day.
Just by looking at this picture, you'll be able to notice how BIG I already am. So far ,the extra inches Ive gain on my waist seems worthwhile coz Im thanking my lucky stars (for now) that my face shape didnt change.

Ive heard where some ladies experienced bloatedness and expanding nose and cheeks. As of now, I still look the same (not the lower half though) and my face shape remains the same as pre-pregnancy. But of course, before some of you burst my bubbles, I know, I know....Who knows in the next few weeks to come, right? I may look like one juicy, oily fishball....?? *shrug*

Ok, this blog entry better be good coz as truth to be told, Ive been feeling uneasy and fatigueness since these few days. Soya Bean's movement have been very vigorous and strong and although Im enjoying that special moment, it can be so intensed at times that I had to 'sayang2x' her, hopefully she kicked and punched me a lil' gentler. There was once when she kicked hard and hubby gently massage that area till she went down. Hehehhee!

My recent visit to the gynae really gave me a scare! On the scanning screen, it was stated that Im already at my 35th week of gestation and my due date will be on the 16th April 2012. OMG! That will be exactly 4 weeks from now..??!! Baby is big at 2.6kg according to Dr Anna and if my initial due date, which is on the 4th May is accurate, Baby might have reached 3.6kg++ and that will posed a problem for me to give birth vaginally. On top of that, my haemoglobin is low. This is something that has always been the problem ever since my teenage years. So pack on the IRON MAN!

I have no issue in popping the iron tablets but just the very bad habit to 'procrastinate'. So now the husband will make sure he gets a glass of water before I sleep and feed me the iron tablet. However, what I worry the most is the birthing process. And.......

-What if Soya Bean decided to pop early than expected? Premmie..?? Can I handle it...??
-What if she gets too big and I cant pushed her out naturally?
- And what happen if my water bag burst while Im in a public place, public transport etc?

Sigh. Please pardon me for Im just a first time, inexperienced Mama-to-be. Naturally I will get all 'kan-cheong' spider about many things.

And being a first time Mama-to-be, lots of 'advices' comes naturally too. I posted on my status somewhere last week, asking fellow "FBookies", on what are the myths and pantangs that they ever listened to or received.

Here's some that I personally feel very hilarious & absurd:

-If you wanna eat chicken, preparation must be done by someone else to chop the feet and wings for fear that your unborn child might have deformaties on his/her limbs.

-No sewing supposed to be done to avoid having baby having cleft lips.

-If your tummy gets itchy often, that shows that your baby has a thick head of hair.

-Dont eat 'sotong' (squid) if not you will experienced difficult labour.

- Always carry something sharp (nail seems to be the fave) to ward off evil.

-Eating too much crab might result to baby being too active aka having ADHD.

In fact there are so many 'pantang-larang'. People said, do not shrug off what the old wives' tell you. Take it into your strides and just smile it all away. :))

As for now, people simply love to speculate about my tummy shape. And yes, I do receive endless stares and rude one too!
Whatever it is, may Allah protect this not so little lady in me. May she be those who obeys Allah and be a sensible daughter to us..... Insya Allah.
