Anticipated Holidays.....

It really suxs to sleep alone when you are already accustomed to having the husband sleeping beside you for the past 6 months. The husband is away for outfield and will only be back tomorrow night. Damn. I dont see the purpose to get home early, maybe only for the fact that I need to rush on sewing a groom's outfit for this weekend solemnisation which happens to be my cousin. Well, hubby..... you better come home tomorrow night and smell nice!!

Anyway...Wedding again!!! Yeah!! Exciting mak!! My aunt has entrust me for everything for the bride-to-be's (she's a Filipina who sadly doesnt have her family around to be with her) outfits, make-up and all the works. Nur Aishah (her Muslim's name) is very shy and will be donning the outfits from brides.blush. She was especially in love with the black & silver kebaya!!

Ahhh...... Just cant wait for this Saturday. And after Saturday, it will be PACK UP time for the long-awaited Kay Elle (K.L) trip with the hubby!! Yabedabedoooooo!!!!! *somersault-cartwheel* We will taking the conventional 5hours coach ride to my 'playground'. Hubby did suggest to take the budget plane but since I have not been to KL for quite some time, I just wanna relive the time in the bus. So nostalgic, can.... "_"
Stopping at Yong Peng to grab some cheap goodies, smell the 'Malaysian' air (sans the toilet whiff)...... best sesangat aku cakap...!!

The itinerary is more or less planned but then, I told the husband to just go with the flow. But a meal @ Sari Ratu Restaurant is a MUST!!! Gosh, just typing their restaurant name and thinking about the green chilli sambal is enough to make my mouth waters!! Not forgetting the Ayam Percik at Petaling Street and hell, A & W.....!! *SCREAMM* Boleh gemok kalau dudok KL satu minggu. The hubby told me to just bring 1 set of clothing and buy the rest there. Good idea..I can always get anything bigger just in case a few inches on the tummy decide to say "Hi!".

And... Insya Allah, a week after we come back from KL, BINTAN trip with the family!! It has been so lonmg since we went on a family holiday together. Maybe the last one was like in 1995 to Malacca. Other than that, it will always be like either this sister or that sister is not around. But this time round is happening!!! And of course with the kiddos around too. My 2nd sis managed to get a double storey holiday bungalow for us and we are all looking forward to it!

December is around the bend so have fun people!!! Those with year-end bonus, spend wisely k....

Not-Sexy Back.....

Its been quite a while that Ive been ignoring this blog of mine. Blame it on the neverending workload and of course, ever welcoming new projects!

On the 6th November, I took part in a mini Wedding Exhibition, recommended by my uncle at Singapore Expo. I was rather reluctant to join in coz obviously, I was just an amateur and boy!! It's a BIG deal to have an exhibition there! So, the deal was, I got three pretty models, dolled them up and distribute my namecards to visitors to let my service known. Not easy I tell you!! It was then I realised how difficult it was to distribute flyers/brochures only to have people take it and crumpled it somewhere. However, my only consolation was some really nice ladies did received it politely and kept it with them in their bags. Phewwww!!

With all those works, my back really take a toil and almost 'gave up'! I rushed to NUH last Friday after bearing with the back pain for almost 3days. Couldnt walk normally (when I really can walk very fast....) and couldnt bend down. We went to NUH Emergency dept and I was taken into the observation ward at 5.30pm. Poor hubby had to wait outside since no visitors were allowed. Oh well.

I was administered two painkiller tablets and a jab on my arm. When we got home and I told hubby this, his theory was, "Why was the jab on your arm? Its just like you have a pain on your leg but they treat your hand?"

Anyways...... I didnt ask the nurse this by the way coz at THAT time, I was more concerned with having the pain to go away. I was left alone for a while for the drugs to take effect. I believed that I actually slept and woke up at least three times only to have this throbbing pain STILL nudging me. That's when another nurse came and after confirming with the doctor, I was given the massive, mother of all jab in the BUTT. Yeah, you read that correctly. It was hell of a pain!!! According to the doctor, "that's the strongest painkiller ya know".
Whatever doc, it better be good!

It was already 9.02pm when another nurse came and checked my BP, which is always low. I was kept in the waiting game yet again and that's when I decided to call mum to update her. She almost screamed when I told her that I was given TWO jabs. Her theory now was, "unnecessary jabs may caused other illness..." Okay, Mak. I understand. Insya Allah, tak ada apa-apa yahh....

After a short nap yet again, I was FINALLY wheeled into the X-Ray room at 10pm. I urged the nurses to let me go coz I knew by that time, my hubby was almost going crazy from all the waiting. They finally let me go. But of course, another waiting for the X-Ray report and med.

Alhamdullilah, the report showed no obvious fractures. It was just muscle strain. All kinds of weird imagination run riot in my head coz I was so fearful that it may dampen my chances of getting pregnant! But now, I thanked Allah that Im recovering well. Although I have to forego IRON MAIDEN concert next year, I think its worth the sacrifice compare to jeopardising my own health. :)

As for now, new project coming right up!! Flea market at SAFRA JURONG! Hope this time round, I wont suffer the same thing again. Insya Allah. :)
